Liza Sánchez

— Founder

I have a passion for connecting organizations with great people and supporting the career advancement of outstanding individuals. As the founder of Escuela Bilingüe Internacional in Oakland, CA; the first Spanish immersion, non-profit school in California, I developed a love for helping organizations grow and building teams with the ability to make a lasting impact.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and the Golden Gate Bridge continues to be an important symbol in my life. As one of eight toll bridges in the Bay Area, the Golden Gate is both an entry point for ships sailing into the bay as well as a connector for those who would otherwise be separated. This is what 8 Bridges is all about: we create entry points, we serve as a connector, we build bridges.
